Dear Family,
It's so weird being the one writing missionary letters. My first day was long to say the least. My Comp is Elder Reed from Riverton and he's pretty cool. He's going to the California Santa-Something Mission. (He actually wrote "something").
It's been a crazy day. I haven't been able to set up my e-mail yet but should have it up in time to write you on my p-day which is Tuesday.
I miss you guys a lot already, but I know this is where I'm supposed to be.
The showers here aren't very good. I think I was in there for about 3 minutes. A new record.
I've been assigned as the senior companion for the first half of the next 3 weeks so that will be a new challenge. There are 3 or 4 other missionaries going to Tallahassee in by district, but none of them are even in my room. Every one else in my room is going to the California Santa-Something mission, so it's kinda weird.
To be honest, most of my energy has been spent trying to stay awake. I haven't felt this exhausted for a long time. It's been an adjustment. So far everyone I've met has been a BYU fan, so I feel like I'm in hostile territory, and most of the workers went to BYU, but what can you do?
Well, I'm supposed to have had lights out 5 minutes ago so I'll wrap it up. Thanks for all your support. I love you and miss you.

P.S. Tell Brandon I saw a guy that looked JUST like Kenneth from 30 Rock.
