Hello Ma!

How are you? It's been pretty wild down here, but really good too. We've been eating pretty good, we get a fair amount of dinner appointments and it's been really good so far. I really like the members of the ward, we had Easter dinner with a family called the Cooks and they're really cool. They had some family and friends over as well and they were really cool too. Our church is a stake center, but we don't have many active members, so it feels really empty.

The weather has been pretty good for the most part, it's been storming really bad toady though, the thunder is way loud and it shakes the desks, pretty cool stuff.

Went over to the 93 year old's house on Saturday and just talked with him for about an hour. You'd never know the guy was 93, he's still really active and he's sharp a a tack and he still golfs and everything. He and his wife (who is an inactive member) actually came to church yesterday and stayed the whole time, so that was a huge plus.

I did get the memory card, thanks a ton. I have it on the highest quality and you can still take over 2,000 pics and 6 hours of video on it, it's sweet. Now that I have that, I can print off some pics to send home next time I go to the store. I also got the Easter package, thanks a ton, it was great. My comp really liked it too.

As far as B-day stuff, you guys have already got me plenty so don't worry about it, thanks for the offer though. It's crazy to think that I only have one week left as a teenager for the rest of eternity, it's kinda sad actually, but that's life I guess.

I really like president Summerhays, I think he's a big reason why I'm supposed to be in the FTM right now. It feels like he's known me my whole life. He's big on being obedient, but he also jokes around and stuff so it's great. Sister Summerhays is the same way.

We're still out of a car so it's a good thing my bike works well. Some investigators are out of bike range though so it is kinda frustrating, also it makes it hard to gain weight. We've met some crazy people, but they're pretty nice for the most part. A lot of times you can tell they hate you because you're a Mormon but they're just being polite. We had one lady kinda rip us apart but she had a big smile on her face and it was pretty creepy to be honest. We've had a pretty good amount of success though, even without a car. We got five new investigators this week and a bunch of potential investigators so it'll keep us busy, especially once we get our wheels back.

The time has been pretty crazy. On the one hand, it feels like I've been on a mission forever, but at the same time, it feels like it was just a week ago that you guys dropped me off at the MTC.

Well thanks for everything, especially the Easter package and the memory card. Thanks for all the support, it's really helped me out. Talk to you later.

Elder Waters
